Ken has a career of over 15 years in Renewable energy. Previously he has worked for many multinational corporations that have given him the upper hand in understanding the needs of Kenyans with respect to power.
After observing for a while the energy crisis in the country he set out to Start Tafsiri Energy a little under a decade ago and since then has never looked back. He noticed that some areas of Kenya and the Wider Eastern and Central Africa had no connection to the main power grid and any chances of connecting them to the power grid were zero to none. He also noted that power in These countries is very unreliable. You could get blackouts in some regions that lasted for hours and even days sometimes.
Ken was determined to make a change in the Energy sector using solar and so he continues with his team at Tafsiri Energy.
